Shichi-Go-San is a shinto ceremony celebrated when the child is 7 (for girls), 5 (for boys), and 3 (both boys and girls). Since Yuri turned 3 this year, we participated at the Kibitsu Shrine (home of Momotaro). My parents took me to the same shrine for the same event when I was 3.
